About Us
A serviced office space close to home has long been a dream of local
businessman Phil Aarons.
Phil runs a sustainable engineering consulting business, and has been
working from home as an independent contractor for 13 years.
Based in Woodend for the past 5 years, he has lamented the lack of
any appropriate space in the area for himself - and the many local
home-based professionals - to work independently in the convenience
of a fully equipped office environment.
After pondering a community-focused remedy to this for months, Macedon
Ranges Business Centre was born. MRBC is the first of it’s kind in
the area, and is driven primarily by the notion of creating a positive
place for people to attend to their business commitments locally –
with a view to environmental sustainability, especially reducing the
need for the commute to Melbourne. While obviously a business enterprise,
MRBC is equally a social enterprise - in a broader sense it is aiming
to create a space in which local professionals can increase their awareness
of local businesses, local knowledge and expertise. The possibilities
for social and business networking are a particularly exciting element
of the venture.
Phil will be utilising the office space himself on a regular basis.
Please feel free to contact Phil with any queries.
